Welcome to Fleming County PVA
Welcome to our updated website!

The Property Valuation Administrator's Office is dedicated to serving and assisting the public with understanding the operation of the P.V.A. Office. In an effort to better serve property owners, appraisers, bankers, other government officials and taxpayers, the Fleming County P.V.A. has created this website. This site will give general property information and links to state agencies.

Kentucky property tax law establishes the assessment date as of Januray 1st of each year. All property is assessed as of that date. Ownership of property for tax purposes is also set by the January 1st requirement. If a property is purchased after that date, state statute requires the tax bill be issued in the name of the former owner until the next calendar year. An attempt is made to mail the tax bill to the new owners using information provided to us by recorded deeds. If, however, a new owner does not receive a copy of the tax bill, the owner may contact the Fleming County Sheriff's Office to obtain the information.

A note from Stephanie Hardin, your Fleming County PVA

Dear Citizens of Fleming County:

I have lived most of my life in Fleming County and am so thankful for this opportunity to serve you. I hope that this website will be helpful to you in understanding both the duties and responsibilities of our office.

I became your P.V.A. on December 5, 2022, but I was a deputy in the office for 7 years before that. I attended Fleming County High School and graduated from Maysville Community Technical College with an Associate degree in Business Management. I have also taken several courses through the Kentucky Department of Revenue where I have earned the Certified Kentucky Assessors Designation and the Senior Kentucky Assessors designation.

The development of this website was made to better communicate and familiarize the taxpayers of Fleming County with the various duties of our office. Another feature allows financial institutions, realtors, and appraisers to obtain information regarding specific properties.

For those of you who have not met me, I encourage you to stop in and meet me and my staff. We will be happy to show you around and familiarize you with the P.V.A. Office. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact me or any of my staff. We are looking forward to seeing and hearing from you.

Sincerely,

Stephanie Hardin
